Lips and Lives

Jesus makes it clear in Luke 11:14-54 that there is no neutral ground in our relationship with Him - we are either for Him or against Him. Simply admiring Jesus or cleaning up our lives without fully surrendering to Him leaves us vulnerable spiritually. Jesus exposes the hypocrisy of the Pharisees who honored God with their lips but not their hearts. True discipleship requires more than lip service; it demands complete surrender where our words and actions align. Following Jesus isn't about performance but about presence - saying yes to Him with our entire lives, not just our words.
